CoupleNameGen

Zaher Khan

CoupleNameGen is written and maintained by Zaher Khan, the site's founder and the developer who built the blending engine it documents. There is no team behind the name and no invented credentials in front of it: one person builds the software, writes the pages about it, and answers the corrections.

What that byline means in practice

Most of what this site publishes is documentation of a piece of software: what it measures, how it scores, and where it fails. The claim to authority is deliberately narrow. It is not a linguistics qualification, because there is none to claim; it is that the person describing the engine is the person who wrote it, so the description and the code cannot drift apart without someone noticing.

What the founder is responsible for

Documenting every scoring change on the methodology page and bumping the engine version. Keeping the regression checks and the limits report generated from the live engine rather than from notes. Publishing the human review protocol before collecting data, and reporting failures alongside successes when there is data.
