What a shortlist is for
The blender will hand you two dozen candidates for any pair of names, and comparing two dozen of anything is not a decision, it is a stall. Saving four or five and then ignoring the rest is the point of this page.
Nothing here is uploaded. We cannot see your list, it is not linked to you, and there is no account to make. The trade is that it lives in one browser on one device, so if you want it somewhere else, use Download and keep the file.
Three checks before you commit
- Say each one out loud. Not in your head. A blend that is awkward to say is the single most common reason a name gets built, saved and then never used.
- Hand the top two to somebody else. Somebody who does not know the pair. Ask them to say it and guess both names, without explaining first. This is the check the software cannot run, and it decides more than any score does.
- Search whichever survives. A plain web search, then the platform you actually plan to use it on. Thirty seconds, and it catches collisions with brands, tags and words in languages you do not speak.
The blind name test turns the second one into a short script, and the draft checker will trace any saved name back to its two sources if you have lost track of which is which.
